This class focuses on the beauty of imperfect stitching, mindful making, and creative exploration.
Sacred Slow Stitch is a meditative textile workshop inspired by the global slow craft movement and traditional hand-stitching practices.
Students will work with a curated selection of fabrics—including vintage textiles, globally curated fabrics & unique baubles, glorious trims, fanciful ribbons, multi weight cottons, and natural fibers—to build a layered textile composition. Through simple hand stitches and intuitive design, participants will create a slow-stitched textile collage panel that can be framed as artwork, incorporated into a journal cover, or used in future textile projects.

This class is beginner-friendly and offers a playful introduction to working with felt fibers.
In Felt Flower Studio, students will learn the art of cutting and shaping felt fibers to create beautiful handmade blossoms. We will use hot glue and wire in this class. Hand Stitching can also be used.
Using basic felt sheets and scissor cutting techniques, participants will craft a small collection of vibrant felt flowers that can be used as brooches, hair accessories, textile embellishments, or decorative objects.

In this playful and creatively layered workshop, students will explore the art of paper weaving using painted papers, vintage materials, botanical prints, maps, handmade textures, metallic accents, and other beautifully curated elements. Inspired by both traditional weaving and contemporary collage art, this class transforms simple strips of paper into richly textured compositions full of movement, color, and personality.
Participants will learn foundational weaving techniques while experimenting with layering, pattern, texture, and composition to create one-of-a-kind woven artworks suitable for framing, journaling, or mixed media projects. The process is approachable for beginners while still offering plenty of room for creative expression and artistic exploration.
No prior experience is necessary. All materials are included, and each student will leave with finished woven pieces and the inspiration to continue exploring paper-based art forms at home.

This Old House invites you to transform a precut burlap foundation (several shapes and sizes to choose from) into a charming fabric sculpture. You'll embellish your house with an array of beautiful felts, fabrics, buttons, trims, and laces, stitching each element by hand carefully into place. Once complete, we'll stuff your creation to bring it to life as a freestanding soft sculpture—a whimsical, three-dimensional artwork that's uniquely yours to display and treasure.

Layered Art Composition is the elevated art cousin to collage, at it’s base, it is transforming fragments into meaning. By pulling images, fabrics, and found objects from their original context, and reassembling them, you create something entirely new and deeply personal. The physical act of cutting, tearing, and arranging becomes a meditation, a way to process the world through tactile creation. In this class, you'll craft an intentional guided by your own instincts and desires, all while sharing the creative energy and support of making art together in community.
We provide an extensive library of beautiful papers, images, and materials to work with, and a framed canvas on which to place them.

Painted Stitches combines watercolor painting with hand stitching to create unique mixed-media artwork.
Students will begin by painting loose watercolor backgrounds and shapes on hand-made Mexican heavyweight watercolor paper. Once dry, the artwork is enhanced with hand embroidery, fabric fragments, and stitched details.
The result is a stitched mixed-media art piece that blends painting, textile techniques, and personal expression.

In this three-part workshop, participants create a 20" x 24" textile wall hanging composed of four hand-stitched panels, arranged to resemble the structure of a window.
Using Kawandi-inspired techniques, we explore layered fabric, intuitive composition, and visible stitching as both structure and design. Each section is developed individually across sessions, then assembled into a cohesive finished piece.
Instruction is clear and supportive, with time to work both in class and, if desired, between sessions. Some stitching can be completed at home, allowing participants to move at their own pace and deepen their engagement with the process.

Every handmade book begins as a simple collection of paper, thread, texture, and intention. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore the foundational art of bookbinding through simple stitching techniques, beautiful papers, and thoughtfully chosen materials.
Students will learn how to fold, assemble, and bind their own small hand-stitched journal while exploring the quiet, tactile rhythm of working with paper by hand. Throughout the class, we’ll incorporate curated materials such as handmade papers, botanical elements, vintage pages, textiles, and decorative details to create books that feel personal, artistic, and one of a kind.
No prior experience is necessary. This class is designed for beginners, creatives, writers, journal lovers, and anyone drawn to slow, intentional making.
All materials are included. Students will leave with a finished handbound journal and the foundational skills to continue exploring the art of bookbinding at home.

This hands-on workshop explores wet felting through the creation of landscape inspired textile compositions.
Using wool fibers, water, and agitation, participants build layered scenes where color and texture blend into a cohesive felted surface. Guidance focuses on composition, color transitions, and the natural movement of fiber to create depth and atmosphere.
Each participant leaves with a finished felted piece that can be displayed as artwork or incorporated into future textile projects.
