A Hand-Stitched Textile Wall Hanging
In this three-part workshop, participants create a 20" x 24" textile wall hanging composed of four hand-stitched panels, arranged to resemble the structure of a window.
Using Kawandi-inspired techniques, we explore layered fabric, intuitive composition, and visible stitching as both structure and design.

We believe the act of making is its own kind of nourishment — whether that’s a meal, a stitch, or simply a moment that’s entirely your own. At Marigold, we slow down on purpose — to stitch, to felt, to shape something real with our hands. We come together as a community of makers, beginners and seasoned alike, drawn by the quiet satisfaction of creating. Everyone is welcome at this table
Each workshop is designed to bring creativity directly to your hands - focused, present, and fully engaged in the process. Process over perfection, always.
Techniques and materials drawn from traditions across Mexico, India, Morocco, and beyond—honored, studied, and reinterpreted through a modern lens
More than a class—each offering is a shared experience. Food, conversation, and making come together in thoughtfully designed gatherings.

Marigold’s private sessions are designed for groups who want more than a night out — they want a memory. From bridal gatherings to milestone celebrations to traveling groups discovering the Blue Ridge, each experience is thoughtfully curated with hands-on instruction, premium materials, and the satisfying magic of making something by hand.
At Marigold, we create experiences that blend creativity and strategy to engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.
Marigold Art Collective is shaped by a life spent working across kitchens, studios, and markets around the world—where craft, food, and culture intersect in meaningful ways.
The work behind the collective draws from years of experience in hospitality and the arts, as well as time spent sourcing textiles, studying traditional techniques, and gathering inspiration across Mexico, India, Morocco, and beyond. What emerges is a space designed for making—where materials carry history, process is valued, and each experience is thoughtfully composed from start to finish.
Marigold exists as both studio and gathering place: a place to create, to learn, and to share in something intentional.
