Studio Notes ✹ Behind the Scenes at Marigold
Studio Notes ✹

Lately I have felt equal parts overwhelmed and wildly excited… like I need about 36 hours in every day to keep up with all of the ideas, projects, plans, flower planting, class prep, catering schedules, painting, organizing, and dreaming happening around here.
The food truck season has officially kicked into full swing, which means long days, early mornings, organized chaos, and a whole lot of cooking — while at the very same time, the Marigold is slowly unfolding into this beautiful new chapter I’ve dreamed about for years.
There is still so much to do. Sawdust on the floors. Garden beds half planted. Supplies stacked everywhere. Half-finished projects covering tables. Sketches and notes and fabric scraps tucked into corners.
But underneath all of the exhaustion is a very deep feeling of gratitude.
I am incredibly thankful to still have both of my parents beside me through this season of life, helping me build something new from the ground up. Their support, encouragement, labor, advice, and belief in me mean more than I could ever properly put into words.
This whole thing is becoming a true family effort — messy, beautiful, exhausting, meaningful… and very, very real.
Thank you for being here while we build it, one imperfect and heartfelt step at a time.
P.S. Classes will launch in the next day or two!!! Woot!
